Master of Health Professions Education

The Master of Health Professions Education (MHPE) program at the Libyan International University (LIMU) is a pioneering graduate program designed to develop the next generation of leaders in medical and health sciences education. In response to the rapid evolution of healthcare delivery and the global shift towards competency-based training, this program bridges the gap between clinical expertise and advanced educational practice.

The MHPE equips participants with the essential knowledge and skills to design and implement modern, competency-based curricula, develop reliable and valid assessment systems, and lead educational transformation and quality improvement initiatives. The program emphasizes the integration of contemporary learning technologies, including simulation-based training, and prepares graduates to conduct rigorous educational research that informs and elevates professional practice.

By fostering educational leadership and innovation, LIMU’s MHPE program contributes to building local and regional capacity, directly addressing the critical need for skilled educators who can advance the quality of health professions education.
